I stick chains over mud'n'snow tires on all four wheels and I am seriously unstoppable. Its light. Its strong and with a solid front axle. It has a low range gear box that allows it to creep along while I jump out and take a piss! (just kidding, but not by much)

The big guys bog down and get stuck and I just quietly putt-putt up and over and around them.

I'm still pissin' people off.Svenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07427203604663292704noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13980320.post-83070819909174080172009-04-06T16:28:00.001-06:002009-04-06T16:28:00.001-06:00HAHAHAHAAAAA!See how y'are, pissin' off moonbats e...HAHAHAHAAAAA!
See how y'are, pissin' off moonbats even waaay back when!Melissa "Darla" In Texashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16165875982092682075noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13980320.post-73994280167368263342009-04-06T16:28:00.000-06:002009-04-06T16:28:00.000-06:00Yeah Sven, pissed them off good we did. Not too many mountains in Florida to climb but plenty of mudholes to "try" to escape from. gsebesAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13980320.post-63362491984840540442009-04-06T15:54:00.000-06:002009-04-06T15:54:00.000-06:00gsebes,Not as unusual as ya might think, your side...gsebes,

Not as unusual as ya might think, your side trip up Boreas Pass incline down into Breck...in a VW.

We used to do the same thing with chopped up VW's with stiffened supensions and big bore kits, porche intakes and distributors and tuned exhausts....They were variants of the SoCal dune buggies.

It REALLY pissed off the drivers of the big, firebreathing 4X4's.

Friggin' hippie-mobiles!!!! On a day trip out of Denver, while our host worked, we happened to drive past Como and I saw that Roundhouse. We also noticed the cinder track bed that headed up the mountains. After checking the map and the gas gauge we decided to follow the old track bed up the mountain. Young and Dumb for sure. The tracks were narrow gauge but the VW fit with inches to spare. We continued on up the track bed to the top of the continental divide where there were a collection of Jeeps, Blazers and Broncos whose occupants proceeded to flip us off, in my VW. We continued on downhill into Breckenridge where we, as out-of-staters do, bought some Coors and drank a toast to our adventure. True story. gsebesAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
